Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia (8% Y) - Spray Dried Grade Powder

Yttria fully Stabilized Zirconia (with 8 mol% Y2O3) is a commonly used and well characterized ceramic electrolyte material. YSZ-8 is used as a Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) electrolyte membrane in solid oxide stacks and as a component in composite cathodes or cermet anodes. The characteristics of this spray-dried YSZ-8 powder make it well suited for pellet pressing and other ceramic manufacturing processes where a highly flowable powder is desired. The high surface area of this powder enables lower sintering temperatures.
