YSZ-8 Button Substrate - 2cm Diam

These Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) (8 mole % yttria) Substrates are for the development of anode and cathode materials and structures. The YSZ substrate is particularly useful for short-term destructive testing, e.g. impurity/sulfur resistance of anode materials, where low cost is desired, and low performance is acceptable. We recommend the use of the Hionic Substrate for high-performance testing. Typical Use Guidelines: Highly conductive Scandia based substrate for fabricating solid oxide fuel cells, or other high temperature applications. The Hionic substrates are ideal for long term testing, and other application where improved conductivity of an electrolyte support is desired.
