MTI

  This is a macro TGA tube furnace up to 1600°C  function.  Compared with conventional TGA devices, the TGA furnace can load larger samples up to 100 g to get a more accurate result for industry and can be operated under both a vacuum and controlled gas atmosphere, even under hydrogen gas to research phase transition during material processing. The TGA furnace also may connect a gas analysis device to study gas composition change during heating and weight change.

 Furnace Structure
  • Using one of the MTI split tube furnaces with 1600oC working temperature via MoSi2 heating elements.
  • Heating zone length 390 mm with 135 mm constant temperature zone within +/- 1
  • The temperature range is optional from 1200 to 1600 with +/- 0.1 accuracy
  • Precision electronic balance with 0.001 g resolution.
  • The vacuum level can reach 10-5 torr via turbopump

Working Temperature

  • 900  - 1600   under oxygen & inert gas atmosphere ( PSIG 0.1 > 3 )
  • 900oC -  1500oC under vacuum

    • A KF40 vacuum port is built-in to connect a vacuum pump

Gas Delivery optional
  • 1/4" gas inlet and out are built-in with an optional mass flow controller. The recommended gas flow rate is <200 sccm.
  • You may connect the TGA furnace with the MTI multi-channel gas delivery system for mixing gas operation, or oxygen or a gas analyzer to the gas outlet port
