MTI

MSK-AFA-L1000 is a 350mm width and 1100mm long tape casting coater with a heat-able bottom vacuum chuck up to 120°C and a micrometer adjustable applicator. It is designed for producing long thick film and has a unique driving system to produce smooth coating at all types of materials. It is specially designed for coating various electrodes of a cylindrical cell such as the 21700 formats.

  • Tip: For drying the coated Li-ion battery electrode sheets (usually 80°C is required), simply set the target temperature in the temp. controller, close the lid, and wait for the slurry to be dried.

Vacuum Pump (Optional)

  • A hybrid slot die film applicator (250 mm width) is available upon request

  • May need a vacuum mixer to remove air bubbles inside slurry to make uniform coatings (Click Pic.4 )

  • You may need a Dry oven to dry the films and remove the binder after coating. (Click Pic.6 for detail.)
