MTI

MSK-AFA-III-HDS-150 is an economic hybrid film coater with a vacuum chuck and bottom heater, which can make tape coating and slot-die coating via a special hybrid film applicator up to 320mm L x 100 - 150 mm W from 5 - 100 microns. . It is an excellent tool to research films of perovskite  solar cells, fuel cell proton exchange membrane, and the battery electrodes.

Film coater
  • Vacuum chuck made of Aluminum alloy with < 1.0 mm hole
    • Vacuum Chuck Dimensions: 200 mm(W) x 365 mm(L) (8"W x 14"L)
    • The chuck is heated up to 120C by a digital temperature controller with +/- 1ºC accuracy
    • One vacuum pump is required, but not included please order separately.
  • One glass plate is included to coat slurry on a porous substrate, which can be sucked by vacuum chuck

  • Moving Speed: One pushing bar is included for moving film applicator at speed of 10 - 100 mm/sec variable
  • Moving Length: 10 - 350 mm adjustable by Adjustable Position Switch
 
Hybrid Coating Head
  • Film coating head consists of one fixed 150 mm width doctor blade and one 100 mm width removable slot die head.
  • The gap between the coating blade and the substrate plate is adjustable with +/- 1-micron accuracy via dual digital micrometers. 
    • Doctor blade: 150 mm width for minimum thickness of 0.010 mm film
    • Slot die: 100 mm width for minimum thickness of 0.005 mm film

 Digital Syringe Pump
  • Digital syringe pump with a easy to use control panel screen is included for slot-die coating
  • Holds small or big syringes up to 200 mL and remembers previous settings on power-up
  • Pumping rate: 1.963?L/min with a 10 ?L syringe and 294.524mL/min with a 200mL syringe
  • The movement speed of the plunger: 15cm/min (Max) 0.0001cm/min (Min)
  • Multiple operating modes: Infuse only, Withdraw only, Infuse/Withdraw, Withdraw/Infuse, Continuation
Customer can also consider the economic digital syringe pump 300SP-LD

  • In order to achieve better coating by the slot die, slurry's Viscosity and dispersion are very important.
