MTI

YLJ-HP7 is a digital electric hot pellet press with a programmable split furnace up to 1100ºC, which can apply up to 2 metric tons by an electric motor with an automatic pressure-controlled function. It is an ideal press for preparing ceramic, composite, and polymer material samples in the glove box or in the ambient environment. A separated temperature control box, reduced equipment height, and splittable furnace make the whole unit placed inside the glove box. It is Ar gas compaitable. ( Since May 1, 2023, the hot press modified by removing the hand wheel )

Graphite Pressing Die Set (Included)

  • The maximum working pressure is 50 MPa ( 636 Kg force), click the picture left to order spares.
  • Two graphite supporting rods (lower and top) are included. Pic. 2 left)
  • Maximum working temperature: 400°C under air, 1200°C under an inert glovebox
  • A customized graphite die set is also available at an extra cost.
  • BN coating may be applied upon request to reduce graphite contamination.
 SiN4 Die (Optional )

  • To process hot pressing under air or an oxidant environment of more than 400C, Please consider the Si3N4 die set and alumina pushing rods ( click picture left to order )
  • For the 1/2" Si3N4 pressing die, the pressure will vary by the change of the working temperature. as below:
    • 1200oC in the air ( 50 Mpa, 637 Kg)
    • 1050ºC in the air ( 100 MPa max, 1.10 Metric Ton )
    • 1000ºC in the air ( 150 MPa max, 1.70 Metric Ton )
    • 800ºC in the air (160 MPa max, 1.80 Metric Ton )
