MTI

KSL-1500X-W is NRTL ready bench-top 1500oC muffle furnace with a 60 mm diameter window, which is designed for observation samples during heating with IR camera or optical device. The furnace consists of high-quality alumina fiber insulation and SiC heating elements. It controlled by high precision SCR (Silicon Controlled Rectifier) and temperature controller with +/-1 °C accuracy and 30 programmable segments up to 1500 °C.

  • You may upgrade the temperature controller to the Eurotherm 3004 Temperature Controller which is compatible with LabVIEW without OPC server service. This package includes a Eurotherm 3004 programmer, a communication cable (RS485 - USB), and a software CD. Laptop, software & WiFi Control(Optional)
  • Brand new laptop with Microsoft Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 2013 (30 days free trial) for immediate use.
  • Labview Based Temperature Control System (EQ-MTS01) enables users to edit temperature profiles, manage heat-treatment recipes, record, and plot data for MTI furnaces.
  • A wireless remote control provides up to 300 meters of operating range.

Application Notes Please clicks here to learn how to DIY gas purging systems.
Attention Notes Performance degradation (i.e. furnace can not reach the maximum temperature of 1500°C, or it is drawing a higher than normal working current) can be expected due to the use of aged SiC heating elements. It is necessary to replace all the heating elements if the above symptoms were seen.
