MTI

VEF-2800 is an induction-heated electrolytic furnace with moveable electrodes. The heating system is controlled IR sensor up to 2800oC working temperature. It is an excellent system for exploring the refining of noble or rare-earth materials


SPECIFICATIONS

Power Requirements
  • 208 - 240 VAC, three phases, 25KW for induction heater
  • 380VAC or 460CAC three-phase is available upon request
Vacuum chamber
  • The vacuum chamber is made of SS304 with a water-cold jacket
  • Chamber dimension: ?345 x L 380 mm
  • Three graphite electrodes ( 6 mm dia.) are built on top flange and vacuum-sealed with Max. 60A
  • The top flange is moveable by a motor up and down from the heating crucible
  • The IR temperature sensor is installed on the top flange to control the temperature
  • One 0.2 - 2 L/min float flow meter is included.

  • Vacuum Level:
    • 10E-2 torr within 60 minutes via a mechanical pump (Click Pic. 1 to order)
    • <1E-5 torr via a 260 L/s turbopump (Click Pic. 2 to order)
    • < E10--7 torr by 700L/S turbopump. ( Click Pic. 3 to order)
  • > 58L/min water chiller is required to cool down the induction coil and copper mold. ( Click Pic. 4 to order)
