Four Chambers Glove Box with Gas Purification System ( H2O&O2 < 1ppm) - VGB-6-IV-LD

MTI

VGB-6-IV-LD is a four stainless steel glove box with two middle openable front windows designed for the Lithium-Sulfur & Lithium-Metal battery research in One glove box. The purification cylinder is made of BASF antioxidant materials from Germany and UOP water adsorbent materials from the US in order to achieve a low water and oxygen concentration of lower than 1 ppm, such the experiments can be conducted in an ultra clean and highly purified gas environment. It is integrated with the vapor pressure control system, purify control system, automatic gas purity regeneration control system, auto alarm, and system data log recording. Four slidable shelves are built in the glove box to make operations easier. VGB-12 is perfectly fit for Lithium-sulfur and lithium metal battery research.

Application Notes & Warnings
  • The interconnections between the glove box chamber and the gas purification system must be unimpeded during the purification cycles.
  • The use of corrosive gasses is prohibited as they will damage the water and oxygen sensors.
  • Regularly perform regeneration to maintain the optimum purification efficiency.
  • The O2 removing rate is largely dependent on the type of purging gas used. For faster chamber purging process, Nitrogen is preferred over Argon due to its lighter mass.
  • Corrosive liquid (such as LiPF6 electrolyte) must be remain sealed in a container inside the glove box. Otherwise, liquid vapor may condense and corrode the steel chamber and purification pipeline
