Super-stretchable, Abrasion Resistant Natural Rubber Gasket

This is a thin gauge (0.008” or 203.2 micrometer thick) 42” by 12” super-stretchable natural rubber for use in fuel cell test fixtures, particularly for H2/Air and simple alcohol fuels such as methanol and ethanol. This rubber stays flexible over a wide temperature range (up to 121 °C), but its softness gives it better conformability for gasketing or sealing applications. Width and length tolerances are ±1/4". Durometer tolerance is ±5. This natural rubber sheet will stretch up to six times their length depending on the level of compression of clamping force. They can also be used in dynamic applications, such as vibration isolators and shock mounts. This is a natural rubber in terms of chemical composition and hence it is often called gum rubber and latex rubber. This rubber sheet comes without any backing or adhesive layer.
