MTI

MSK-510M is a compact hydraulic crimper for sealing all types of cylinder cases in battery R&D labs. The compact body design allows it to be easily placed inside a glove box and thus preventing contamination of the electrolyte materials during cell assembly. Simple operation with a safety protection feature allows customers to master the sealing procedure within 5 minutes. 

MSK-510M is updated with two-step precision crimping dies for 18650/21700 batteries since Oct. 1, 2021. The second step ensures a high-quality wrinkle-free seal on a properly grooved case.

You need a Cylinder  Grooving Machine  to crimper the cylindrical cell
  • Customized die for other cylindrical cell types is available upon request
  • It is necessary to groove the opening end of the cylindrical case by using the MSK-500 grooving machine before sealing the cap
  • Each type of cylinder cell can only be sealed specifically by a certain model of this equipment. Please select the type of cylinder cell in the Product Options dropbox to check the model number and price for the corresponding crimping die of each cylinder cell type
