Alumina Foam Block: 18 mm Diameter (one pair) for 1" Tube Furnace - F-T-block-18

MTI corporation provides the high quality Alumina (Al₂O₃) foam block for high temperature tubing furnaces in universities, companies, and national labs. It comes with the specifications as the following:

• Max. Working temperature: 1700^oC
• Diameter: 18 mm +/- 1 mm (0.7" +/- 0.04'')
• Length:     40 mm (1.57")
• Fit  1" diameter quartz tube to make 1" diameter tube furnace

Application Note:

• To prevent dust-falling issue and ensure a cleaning process, it is suggested to apply a thin layer of alumina adhesive material on the surface of the foam block. Please click underline to order.
• For direct delivery of precursor gasses over the heating zone, customer may drill a hole in the alumina block for sticking a 1/4" O.D. quartz (<1200^oC) or alumina (<1700^oC) tube to deliver gas into the furnace tube center. Porous alumina block is very soft and it can be hand-drilled through easily. Please refer to the picture below.
